Q: Being proud of your silver hair has become a powerful statement. Can you share your journey and what inspired you to challenge social norms on this matter?
A: Hello, everyone! I'm delighted to be here. About 4 years ago, I got tired of dyeing my hair every 3 weeks and decided to stop. At first, I thought it was just a desire for a change in my look, but this act of liberation became something more, a form of freedom. My journey started with the desire to stop dyeing, but it transformed into something bigger, opening doors to what I do today, being part of the "pro-aging" movement and an influencer.
Q: In the era of social media, there is often pressure to maintain a youthful appearance. How do you think social media platforms can be used positively to challenge age discrimination and promote self-acceptance?
A: Although there is a lot of negativity on social media, I believe we can use it positively. Personally, I use it to spread a positive message about age acceptance. You find everything on social media, but I focus on the positive. I think we can use these platforms to change the perception of age and promote self-acceptance.
Q: What advice would you give to people, especially women, who might struggle with societal expectations as they age? How can they embrace their unique beauty and feel confident?
A: Let's take our age as an asset. Let's enjoy the experience and confidence we gain over the years. Don't be afraid to try new things; experience has your back. Now, you can do whatever you want without fear of making the mistakes we used to make when we were young.
Q: Your presence on social media is empowering many. How do you handle negativity or discriminatory comments online, and what message do you want to send to those facing similar challenges?
A: Initially, negativity affected me, but I realized there was much more positive than negative. I learned not to let negative comments affect me. Now, I focus on the positive and avoid reading negative things. The key is to surround yourself with positive people and focus on the good side of things.
Q: Now you use products for the skin known as "clean beauty." How did you realize this would be a good path to follow?
A: A few months ago, I changed my approach to beauty products. I used to believe that expensive products were the best, but my child's health made me reconsider. I discovered that many everyday products contain toxic components that affect the skin. I decided to join the movement for more natural and pure products. Products that don't have the following ingredients: Parabens, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Fragrance/Perfume. Although some are more expensive, I now find them at similar prices and with real benefits.
These are the changes I have made in my life and my focus on social media. I hope this information is useful to you. Follow Judy to learn more!

Show us the jewelry you're wearing
I wear this set always because I love how it makes me look and how well it suits me. My husband always tells me that as a Hispanic, I like my hoops! And he's right! I love these hoops and the ring. This ring is perfect, and what I love is that it fits on different fingers.
